FAS facilitated the consolidation of Dunphey & Associates’ three locations into one, which included the relocation and design of office space, a custom metal fabrication shop, warehouse space, and custom product showroom.

Designed to highlight the company’s custom HVAC products, the showroom is the public frontage for the company. In order to rerepresent the technology that exists in the company’s industry, FAS maintained sensitivity to the materials used in the showroom. Materials such as stainless steel lighting fixtures and ceiling tiles were used in conjunction with the company’s custom HVAC products in order to create a seamless transition between the materials cladding the showroom and the products themselves. Additionally, FAS emphasized the materiality of the stainless steel finishes by introducing new materials through designed elements, such as the design of custom wood doors along one wall of the showroom.

In addition to the showroom design, FAS also aided in the space planning for the renovated office space.
