In order to capitalize on a growing business, Ace Copy Systems, Inc. is planning to build a new headquarters facility to allow their business to expand and operate more efficiently. Additionally, the design includes space for an additional tenant to provide an investment for the owners of the building.

The +/-8000sf brick and curtainwall building contains approximately two-thirds office space, and one-third warehouse space. The client’s affinity for a clean exterior facade was reinforced through the use of brick, metal and glazing. Special efforts were made to conceal the loading dock, placed on the front of the building due to zoning regulations, with a customized rolling door with ornamental infill.

Because the project was located on a site limited by wetlands and strict zoning ordinances, a detailed package was assembled and submitted to the Township for Planning Board approval during the Pre-design phase. Architectural, Civil and Environmental disciplines were coordinated to research and document the existing site, and it’s potential to meet the client’s goal of constructing their new headquarters.
